He graduated in general medicine from Semmelweis University in 2001. Since receiving his diploma, he has been teaching and working at the I. Department of Surgery. Over the years, he has gradually climbed the teaching ladder at the clinic (2001-2008 resident, specialist trainee, 2008-2011 assistant professor, 2011-2016 adjunct professor, 2016-2019 associate professor, and from 2019 professor). Since 2013, he is the President and founder of the Section for Young Surgeons of the Hungarian Surgical Society, then the President of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, since 2018, the President of the Semmelweis University Scientific Student Council, since 2019, the President of the Surgical Grémium, Since 2022 Head of the Semmelweis University Robot Surgery Programme, since 2023 Member of the Doctoral Council, Head of the Operative Medicine Section, active participant in several committees and councils of Semmelweis University (Senate, Doctoral School, Habilitation Committee, Appeals Committee). His research focuses on hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery. He is a member of several national and international scientific societies dealing with gastroenterological surgery.
