Gábor Dénes Díjas is a research doctor and molecular pharmacologist who has been dealing with precision oncology and the personalized use of molecularly targeted anti-tumor drugs for almost 30 years. Author of more than 200 scientific publications. Founder and director of Genomate Health (Boston, USA), founder of Oncompass Medicine, visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago, USA), research professor at Széchenyi István University, senior scientific associate at Semmelweis University. In recent decades, he and his colleagues were the first to use various methods of molecular diagnostics in the predictive diagnostics of drugs. Now, together with his colleagues, he has developed the first artificial intelligence-based medical software that can help select molecularly personalized targeted anti-tumor treatments. Their results were awarded by international professional organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) and DIGITALEUROPE, which brings together European technology companies. The President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called the development the next medical breakthrough, and in 2023, Genomate was also involved in the White House's CancerX program. In April 2024, Genomate successfully completed the medical artificial intelligence development accelerator program of one of the world's most famous research hospitals, the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, USA). Mayo Clinic's goal is to improve care for half of the world's population with the medical AI solutions it supports. Genomate presented its latest results at the ASCO annual conference in June 2024, which demonstrate the effectiveness of the AI-based solution they developed based on clinical experience.
