Olivér Norton Szabó

Olivér Norton Szabó is an astronomer and PhD student at ELTE Faculty of Science and the Konkoly Thege Miklós Astronomical Institute. His research focuses on planetary defense, the identification of near-Earth asteroids, and the application of artificial intelligence in astronomical image analysis.
He has discovered nine asteroids to date. Alongside his scientific work, he is deeply committed to science communication. As a staff member of the Svábhegy Observatory and as an educator, he actively participates in nurturing the next generation of talent across the Carpathian Basin.
